Daphane Delaney
General Manager / Funeral Director
Daphane came to us in November of 2015 as an: On-Call, Service Assistant. Within only a few months, she was promoted to the Lead Service Assistant that held training and staffing responsibilities amongst the other on-call staff. Knowing a good thing when they saw it, management wished to retain Daphane’s services on a full-time basis and promoted her to Administrative Assistant. In October 2023, she began her journey to receive her Associate's Degree in Mortuary Science. Daphane became a Licensed Funeral Director in August of 2024 while remaining in College to pursue her Embalming License. This led to her promotion as General Manager of Forest Park Funeral Home.
After graduating high school from Bossier City Parkway High, Daphane then went onto procure her Medical Assistant Degree at American Commercial College, graduating in the top 10 in her class, and on the Dean’s Honor List. After starting out her career in Healthcare, at an Obstetrician’s Office, she enriched her medical knowledge by entering Home-Health Care. It was during this period she initially began considering the possibility of entering the funeral industry.
Daphane is native to the Shreveport-Bossier community and was born and raised in Bossier City, LA, where she lives with her husband, William and their three children Landen, Autumn, and River.

Karah Lych
Funeral Director/Embalmer Intern
Karah Lynch’s journey into funeral service grew naturally from a lifelong passion for caring for others. After spending 11 years as a hairstylist and salon owner, Karah built her career around helping people feel cared for, confident, and supported.
In 2024, Karah began providing hairstyling services in funeral homes. That experience introduced her to a different and deeply meaningful way of serving others. Through her time working alongside funeral professionals and families, she discovered a passion for funeral service and helping families through some of life’s most difficult moments.
Today, Karah is a Funeral Director & Embalmer Intern, continuing her education and professional training as she works toward becoming fully licensed. She is committed to learning every aspect of funeral service and providing families with compassion, dignity, and personalized care.
Outside of her professional life, Karah is married and a proud mother to a 13-year-old daughter. Her family is her greatest blessing and an important part of what inspires her dedication to serving others.
Karah’s purpose is simple: to be there for families when they need someone most. Her promise is to treat every family with the same compassion, respect, and attention she would want for her own loved ones.
