Albert Frank Blundell Jr., 68, of Mooringsport, LA, who worked as a painter and contractor, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Willis Knighton North in Shreveport.
Albert was born on December 23, 1952, to Albert Frank Sr. and Lola Blundell in Shreveport, LA. He lived most of his life in Mooringsport on Caddo Lake with his wife, Judy Blundell. He attended high school at Woodlawn High.
Albert Jr. was preceded in death by both of his parents, Albert Sr. and Lola Blundell, and his brother, James Causey.
Surviving family members are his wife, Judy Blundell; his 2 children, son, Shannon Blundell, and daughter, Amanda Blundell; 2 step-daughters, Lori (Robbie) Bookout, and Jennifer Miller. Albert had many grandbabies that he loved dearly. Albert had countless friends and what he would consider family. He also loved his little dog, Chico.
Albert was a man that would always have a smile and a kind word. He would do anything he could to help anyone. He loved his family deeply. He was one of the hardest-working people you would ever meet.
The family would like to say thank you to the wonderful medical staff at the Critical Care Unit at Willis Knighton North. A very special thanks to the young nurse, Kim, who stayed with us, walked us through all that was going on, and allowed our family to properly and lovingly say goodbye.
Special people: Richard and Lennis Elston, who loved Albert dearly and saw each other often.
Richard Wayne Kinch is an angel. Thank you for being such an amazing neighbor and getting Albert to the hospital. That gave our family precious time with him.
