William Carroll Stinson Jr.

September 16, 1953 — April 1, 2024

William Carroll Stinson Jr., 70, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away Monday, April 1st, 2024, in the comfort of his home surrounded by family.

He was born September 16, 1953, in Shreveport, Louisiana to William and Martha Stinson.

He spent 20-plus years working as a landman in the gas and oil industry.

In William’s spare time, he enjoyed sitting on the deck, playing golf, and spending time with his cats. He loved being on the water fishing from his barge.

William was preceded in passing by Martha Ann Calcote Stinson.

Left to cherish William's memories are his father, William “Bill” Stinson Sr., one brother Jerry Stinson, along with many extended family memories and a host of wonderful friends.

A celebratory graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, April 4th, 2024, on the grounds of Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd. Shreveport, Louisiana 71109.
