William Ronald Payne

Shreveport, LA----William Ronald Payne "Ronnie", 82, went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2017, at University Health Hospital in Shreveport, LA. Ronnie was born May 3, 1935 to Joseph Roy Payne and Lazell Holmes Payne in Louisiana. He was a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Lazell Payne; sister, Pat Payne Houston; and his son, Kevin Martin Payne. Ronnie is survived by: his loving wife, Frances Woodard Payne; Daughter in Law, Carol Ann Payne; Grandchildren, Kristopher Michael Payne, Kristi Payne Rice (Rusty), April Ann Cox (Jonathan); Great grandchildren, Ashlynn Hope Rice, Landon Allen Rice, Cason Dudley Cox, Cade Blanton Cox; and nephew, David Lee Houston (Patti). Services for Mr. Payne will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home with a Friday evening visitation at 5pm till 7pm with a Saturday morning Graveside at 10am at Forest Park West Cemetery.
