Toni Phill

TONI LAVERNE THOMAS PHILL (TINA) was born March 26, 1950 to Foster Lee Thomas and Pauline Gordon Thomas in Shreveport, Louisiana. At an early age, Tina was baptized at Mt. Herman Baptist Church. She later united with Washington Temple C. M. E. Church. Tina married Walter Latson and to this union one son was born, DWaltron. She later united in holy matrimony to Tony Jerome Phill and to this union one son was born, Tony II. Toni LaVerne Thomas Phill departed this earthly life and entered into rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Foster Lee Thomas and Pauline Gordon Thomas; a sister, Betty Jean Kelly; a brother-in-law, Andrew D. Kelly; and two aunts, Katie Roberson and Earnestine Brooks. Precious memories will be cherished by her husband, Tony Jerome Phill; two sons, DWaltron Latson and Tony Jerome Phill II; one grandson, Jountavious Latson; one sister, Jeanette Thomas; one brother, Foster Lee Thomas Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
