Thomas Michael ""Mike"" Branch, 59, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2014 at Willis Knighton Bossier Hospital after a lengthy illness. The Memorial Service will be held Today, January 7, 2014 @ 1:00pm in The Wellman's Memorial Chapel at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave, Shreveport, LA. Mike's life was devoted to his family and his career. He took great pride in his two grandchildren and loved them more than life itself. In recent years he was finally able to enjoy his hobbies- fishing and firearms. He taught his children and grandchildren to shoot. This year he caught his largest Bass, which weighed 9lbs 2oz. Anyone that knew Mike understood that he lived his life ""his way"". Survivors include his mother, Betty Gilbert Branch; two daughters, Emily and Valerie; grandchildren, Caroline and Xander; sister, Tina Hollowell; Brother Cody Branch, and many other relatives and friends.
