Theo Elaine Daniels

Theo Elaine Daniels, 70, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Visitation will be Monday July 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Forest Park Funeral Home on Louisiana Avenue. Services to honor the life of Elaine will be held Tuesday July 19 at 11:00 am at Forest Park Funeral Home with interment to follow at Forest Park Cemetery at 3000 Saint Vincent Avenue, Shreveport, LA. Elaine was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, lived many places including Japan, and graduated from C.E. Byrd High School. She has worked at Horseshoe, Casino Magic, Hollywood/Eldorado and was a Caddo Parish Notary Public. She loved music and was a published lyricist and composer, a member of the Southern Songwriter's guild, and a co-owner of the Arklatex Roundup in the 1990's. She was a talented stained glass artist and loved giving pieces to friends and family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, and a loyal, caring friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Dorothy Benedict. She is survived by her husband David Michael Daniels; children Lisa and Scott Frost, Angel and Bogden Petre, Diane and Robert Owen, and Tammy Trainor; grandchildren Taylor Crews, Jett Frost, Cole Selitto, Tia Trainor, Adam Owen ,and Addie Petre; step-children Brandon and Kaitlan Daniels and Nicole Daniels Maniscalco; a brother Vernon (Sandy) Benedict, sisters Gayle Irvine and Dianne McCrary; and menagerie family Sundae, Sally, Pandora, and Lucy.
