Taylor 'Sonny' Wallace Sanders Iii

Taylor W. "T.W." "Sonny" Sanders, III, 71, died peacefully at home after a battle with cancer. Cancer did not win the fight-Dad Did ! His last breath on earth was his first breath in heaven. Funeral Service for Mr. Sanders will be at 5:00 PM, Sunday August 10, 2018, with a Visitation prior starting at 2:00 PM, each being held at Forest Park Funeral Home in Shreveport. Sonny was born in San Antonio, TX on 2/19/47 to T.W. "Wallace" Sanders II and Velma Ruth Miller Sanders. Sonny lived in Shreveport, LA most of his life. Sonny was s self employed carpenter. He loved to fish and play darts, playing in several dart leagues. Sonny was preceded in death by his wife Sherry Vail Sanders; brothers: Johnny and Jaime Don Sanders; and a sister: Virginia "Jenny" Noble. Left to cherish Dad's memory: daughters, Sonia Ray Sanders (Steven), Sunny Dawn Rey, and son, Taylor W. Sanders IV (Melissa); grand children: Robert Sanders, Steven Holt, Sara Holt, James N. Rey IV, Taylor Cox, and Hazel Sanders; Great Grand children: Jessie Dawn Rey, and James N. Rey V; brothers: Michael Sanders, Steven Sanders (Lori) Daniel Sanders (Theresa); Sisters: Linda Jo Leal and Lisa Eager; Step mom, Darlene Sanders, an "Adopted" son, Randy Fogg, and his four - legged companion, Lexi.
