Stephen "Steve" Christopher Hust

Stephen "Steve" Christopher Hust, age 50, a former tree care specialist, has died on November 27, 2022, at a Willis-Knighton hospital in Shreveport, due to cancer.

Steve was born on September 7, 1972, in Shreveport, LA, to Shirley Burkheart and Stephen Edwards. He attended Huntington High School and lived most of his life in his hometown in Shreveport. Two of his favorite hobbies were fishing and riding motorcycles.

Steve Hust was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Edwards.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Burkheart Hust; his children, Chera Hust Tackett, Christopher Stephen Hust, and Alex Rettke; grandchildren, Steven Daniel Tackett, Avarie Lynn Hust, Amelia Jade Walker, Langston Kole Evermone, and Beau Raymond Evermone; his brothers, Samul Hust and Johnny Hust; and beloved pet, Buffy.

A memorial service will be held in Steve's honor on Saturday, December 17th, at 1:00PM at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave. Shreveport, LA.
