Stephen D. LeBlanc, born on November 8, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio, passed away on September 11, 2025, at Willis Knighton Pierremont in Shreveport, Louisiana. A devoted family man and a cherished friend, he leaves behind a legacy marked by love, laughter, and resilience.
Stephen pursued his education at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Cathedral High School, during which he showcased his remarkable talents by being a member of the West Mass Gymnastics Team Championship and achieving a perfect score of 800 on the math SAT. He was known for his wit and humor, touching the lives of those around him with his joyful spirit.
An active member of the Kingwood Pensacola AA, Stephen had a passion for supporting his community and a deep love for music. His enthusiasm for sports was infectious, bringing together family and friends in healthy competition and enjoyment. He cherished spending time with his family, especially his children and his beloved dogs, Izzy and Brody.
Stephen is survived by his children, Danielle Tarpley, Christopher LeBlanc, and Nicole A. Rasalan, as well as his granddaughter, Harper Tarpley. He is also mourned by his siblings: Susan Head, Michele Delaney, Paul LeBlanc, James LeBlanc, and Johnny LeBlanc, and many cousins along with twelve nieces and nephews who looked up to him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dottie LeBlanc, and his brother, Larry Joseph LeBlanc.
A visitation will be held in his honor on September 19, 2025, from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Forest Park Funeral Home and Cemeteries, located at 1201 Louisiana Ave, Shreveport, LA 71101.
