Shirley Ann Johnson

September 12, 1940 — July 16, 2023

Shirley Ann Johnson, age 82, a retired landscaper, passed away on July 16, 2023, at home with her daughters by her side. She was born on September 12, 1940, to John and Elizabeth Foy, and she lived most of her life in Natchez, MS and Shreveport, LA.


She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack Johnson; her daughter, Latricia Bradshaw; her parents; her grandson, Roland David Barlow, Jr.; her son-in-law, Roland David Barlow, Sr.; and her brother, Benny Foy.


Shirley is survived by her children, Tina Floyd (Scottie), Carnita Barlow, and Wade Mobley Jr. (Joan); son-in-law, Mike Bradshaw; her grandchildren, Amee Pilgrim (E.T.), Derric Mobley, Alisha Champion (Bo), Anna Dodson, and Scotty Floyd (Maegan); her brother, John Foy (Charlotte); great-grandchildren, Dylan Hartley, Breanna Hartley, Jackson Floyd, Haidyn Floyd, and Kollins Wallace; and her great-great-grandchild, Paisley Emfinger.


A Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 106 Morgantown Rd. Natchez, Mississippi.


Memorial contributions may be made to the Natchez Humane Society (475 Liberty Rd. Natchez, MS 39120) in memory of Shirley and her precious dog, Katie.


The family would like to extend special thanks to the Willis-Knighton Hospice Staff, especially Ms. Judy and Tericka, and to Shirley’s daughter, Tina Floyd.
