Rosemary Catanese Balzrette

Rosemary Catanese Balzrette, 82, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on June 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Rosemary was born on August 9, 1942, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Phillip and Josephine Catanese. She was a livelong resident of Shreveport.

She is preceded by her husband, Jim Balzrette; her parents, Phillip and Josephine Catanese; and her two siblings Phillip Catanese Jr. and Shirely Smith.

Rosemary is survived by her loving children, Robert Anderson and wife Cheryl, Donnie Anderson, William Anderson and wife Donna, Debbie Anderson; her eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; siblings Sam Catanese and Theresa Peters.

Pallbearers for Rosemary will be Mark Audleman, Chris Anderson, Jake Anderson, Josh Anderson, Charlie Brown, and Justin Washburn.

Visitation for Rosemary will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home on Wednesday evening June 25, 2025, beginning at 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Service will be Thursday June 26, 2025, at 10am with an interment to follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Pastor Jack Alumbaugh from Baptist Tabernacle will be officiating.
