Shreveport, LA. Funeral Services for Robert D. ""Pappaw Bob"" Livingston will be held, 10:00AM, Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Forest Park Funeral Home Chapel, 1201 Louisiana Avenue, Shreveport, LA.. Officiating will be Dr. Murry Hodge of Summer Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Road. The family will receive friends, Friday, January 11, 6:00 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Forest Park Funeral Home. Mr. Livingston was born April 11, 1927 in Holly Springs, Arkansas. He retired from Pan American Import Company in 1988 after years of service and Pierremont Exxon for many years. Mr. Livingston was a resident of Shreveport for over 50 years, until he entered into eternal rest on January 9th. He has lived a wonderful 85+ years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Britton and Rosa Livingston; brothers, Calvin, Herbert, Donald Lee and one sister, Helen Mabry. He has left to cherish his memory his wife of 56 years, Toy Livingston and his three sons and their wives, Steve & Cyndi Thornton and Stan Livingston of Shreveport, John and Deidre Livingston of Fort Worth, Texas. He was blessed with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and will be missed by all who knew him.
