Rena Marie Foret Falgout

Rena Marie Foret Falgout age 93 of Gretna, La. Passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 from complications of pneumonia. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. A devoted Roman Catholic, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, and crafts. Rena and her devoted husband relocated to Shreveport, Louisiana after hurricane Katrina. She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years Nolan Falgout, father George Foret, mother Corneile Foret Ledet, brothers, Reed and Manuel Foret, sisters, Effie Utlser and Joyce Dufrend. Rena has two loving daughters left to cherish her memory Elaine Norris, Maxine Becker and son in- law William Norris. Also, left to cherish her memory are her grandsons Wes Becker, Eric Becker, Greg Becker, Billy Norris, granddaughter, Stacey Norris Green. Great grandson, Matthew Becker, great granddaughters, Allison Becker, Emily Becker, Ashley Becker, Audrey Becker, Kamryn Green, Anwyn Norris. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Guest Care at Spring Lake for their love and care, especially the ""Knock Knocks"", Willis Knighton Piermont 4 west staff, Dr. Green, and Dr. Islam, Gamble Hospice a special thank you to Stephanie. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Shriners Hospital for Children in Shreveport, LA. Services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. St. Joseph Catholic Church 204 Patton avenue Shreveport, La. 71105. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
