Ray T. Arnold of Shreveport passed away July 18, 2016. Ray worked for Kansas City Southern Railroad for fifty years as a heavy crane and pile driver operator. After retirement he worked as a flagman for contractors working on KCS for another ten years. He is a Veteran of the Korean War service 18 months there, 1952-1954. Ray was born November 8, 1931 in Port Arthur, Texas. Ray is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Eula Arnold and two brothers Fred Arnold Jr. and Johnny Arnold. He is survived by his two daughters, Sandra Stokes and her husband Casey Stokes, and Linda Arnold Migues; grandchildren, Brandi Normandin and her husband Jesse Normandin, and Dawson Migues; great grandchild Zayden Normandin; sister Eloise Hoffpauir, and nieces and nephews; and two fur babies Scooter and Lucky. Visitation will be Thursday, 7/21/16, from 5pm-7pm at Forest Park Funeral Home. (1201 Louisiana Ave. Shreveport, La 71101) And a memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, 7/22/16, at 10:30am at Forest Park Funeral Home. Honoring him as Pall Bearers will be Dawson Migues, Casey Stokes, Jesse Normandin, Johnnie Arnold, Joe Arnold, and Don Hoffpauir. The family would like to express much appreciation to the Trauma Unit and Neurology team at University Health. Especially to Kim and Monica, his caring nurses.
