Percy Cameron was born March 1, 1947, in Farmville, North Carolina, to the late Richard and Millie Ann Cameron. He was 1 of 7 children. Percy later relocated to Baltimore, MD where he completed his education and was a graduate of Edmondson - Westside High School. Percy entered the United States Air Force in November 1965 where he obtained his training as an Aircraft Mechanic in 1966. After serving 4+ years, he was released from active duty with an Honorable Discharge. Percy lived and enjoyed a great life where he traveled and toured many destinations. After the loss of his special friend, Mabel Dunston, Percy relocated to Shreveport, Louisiana to live with his brother, Richard Cameron, Jr. In addition to his parents, Percy was preceded in death by his brothers, Willie E. Cameron, James Cameron, Johnny Cameron, and Donald Cameron; as well as his sister, Blonnie Williams. He leaves to cherish his memories: brother and sister-in-law, Richard (Barbara) Cameron; nephews, Prentice, Reginald, and Edward Cameron; long-time friend, Barbara Dunston; and a host of cousins and close friends.
