Odis Eugene Ratliff

Odis Eugene Ratliff, of Stonewall, passed away on July 6, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave, Shreveport on Thursday, July 11, at 11AM. Officiating will be Pastor Richard Kauffman. Interment will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5-7PM. Odis was born on October 24, 1924 in Mississippi to the late James and Matilda Ratliff. He proudly served in the United States Army, retired from City of Shreveport, and later worked as a mechanic with Exxon Mobile. He was preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings. Odis is survived by his loving wife Loyce (Chandler) Ratliff; children, Brenda R. Ratliff, Jerald E. Ratliff (Bubba), Loyce A. Ratliff, William C. Ratliff, and Tricia Malone; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Services have been entrusted to Forest Park Funeral Home.
