Ms. Cynthia Ann Norwood

Cynthia Ann Rogers Norwood was born July 25, 1954 to the late James and Jennie Rogers. Cynthia joined Lonestar Baptist Church at an early age under the leadership of Pastor Jasper Samuel and later united with the Word of God Ministries in Shreveport, La. under the leadership of Pastor James McMenis where she was a faithful member. After 25 years of service, Cynthia retired from Krogers as a Scan Coordinator. Cynthia enjoyed spending time and loving on her two (2) grandkids. They were the apple of her eye. Cynthia departed her earthly home on July 27, 2020. She was preceded in death by her Mother (Jennie), Father (James) and two (2) brothers, Charles Ray Buncomb and John Richard Rogers. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters, Yvette Renee Norwood of Shreveport, La. and Yolanda Jenean Theus (Gary) of Sibley, La.; two grandchildren, Gabrielle Theus and Garyson Theus; former husband Donald Ray Norwood; five (5) brothers, Robert E. Blunt (Jean) of Amityville, Ny, Willie J. Buncomb (Patricia) of Irving, Tx., Jerry G. Rogers (Catherine), Larry Rogers and Lee E. Rogers (Sharonda) all of Shreveport, La. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Please keep the Norwood/Rogers Family lifted in prayer.
