Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Mezzio

Jean Elizabeth Mezzio passed from this earth to paradise on August 1, 2020 at the age of 83 at Willis Knighton Bossier Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on June 25, 1937 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mrs. Mezzio resided in Shreveport most of her life and spent her last years at Riverview Care Center in Bossier City. Jean was a devoted wife to George Robert Mezzio for 34 years and devoted her life as a Christ follower. She was also a talented pianist and artist. Jean is predeceased by her mother, father, husband and daughter and is survived by her children, George Michael (Bonnie) Mezzio, Minden, LA, Richard Dale Mezzio, Sheveport, LA, Cynthia Ann (Michael) Rogers, Ocala, FL, and Robert Wayne (GiGi) Mezzio, Fort. Myers, FL, her brothers, Randy (Bonita) Watson, Bossier City, LA, Rodney Watson, New Orleans, LA, Harvey Watson, Hot Springs, AR, many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Mrs. Mezzio will be held 11 a.m. on August 5, 2020 at Forest Park Cemetery West, and burial will follow immediately after.
