Mrs. Doris Moore

Doris Morvan Moore age 89 of Shreveport, retired waitress passed away Wednesday January 13,2021. Doris was born to Albert and Louise Morvan in Robeline, La on January 24th, 1931, living her adult life in Shreveport. She worked at Dons Seafood and El Chicos. She was a member of Holy Rosary and later Saint Mary of the Pines. She was an avid bowler winning my awards. She loved flowers. What she loved most were her nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. She was a Mom/Aunt to all. She loved taking care of them all. She was a New Orleans Saint fan as well as an LSU football fan. Doris spent the last few years living at Heritage Manor South, Shreveport. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gaddis J Moore, her daughter Arthurline, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. One brother, James Billy Morvan survives, as well as the many nephews and nieces. The family want to express much thanks to the extended family at Heritage Manor and to the Doctors and Nurses at Willis Knighton North and South.
