Mr. Cedric James Miller, Sr.

Brother Cedric James Miller, Sr. was born on October 20, 1959 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was raised by grandparents Willie and Mary Washington. At an early age, Cedric professed Christ as his Saviour and was baptized at Mt. Paran Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana. Cedric worked over 35 years as the owner of Miller's Paint and Body Shop. Cedric never met a stranger and quickly warmed the hearts of anyone he encountered. He transitioned from this life on May 10, 2020. Cedric was preceded in death by his grandparents, three sisters and two brothers. Cedric was a devoted husband for over 39 years. He was a dedicated father and an awesome Paw Paw to his grandchildren, whom he adored and raised. He leaves a legacy that will be greatly missed! Cedric leaves to cherish his loving memories: his wife, Caroline Miller; daughter, Lakeshia Green; son, Cedrick Miller, Jr.; three grandchildren, Tamia Green, Mahalia Miller and Alexia Miller; brothers, Danny Miller (Catherine) and Dwight Miller; sisters, Mary Courtney, Beverly Aaron (Jeff) and Debra Johnson; a host of relatives and a plethora of friends and acquaintances.
