Milton Thelbert Eden

Milton Thelbert Eden was born on August 26, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was the son of the late Tommie Eden and Thelma Hart Eden. Milton graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1955 and obtained his associate degree from Wiley College in business administration. He served his country in a military tour of the United States Army. He was a former employee of Caddo Parish School Board for 20 years where he worked as an Administrative Assistant. He was a devoted father, loved to travel and enjoyed going to the opera and symphony. Milton was full of life and faithful in keeping in touch with family and friends near and far. He is survived by his daughter Troquel Eden Riley (Winston). Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017, at Forest Park Funeral Home 1201 Louisiana Ave, Shreveport, LA 71101. Guest will be received at 9:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial and graveside service will follow at Forest Park Cemetery West, 4000 Meriwether Road, Shreveport, LA. The family would like to thank the staff of the Volunteers of America-North Adult Day Care, Willis Knighton South Hospital 2 East Staff and the staff of Lifepath Hospice.
