Mary Jo Mccain

Mary Jo McCain, 69, of Keithville, LA went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 26, 2017. Services to celebrate the life of Mary Jo will be held Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Grawood Baptist Church. The family will welcome visitors from 11AM to 12PM at the church with services to follow. Burial will be at Forest Park West Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David McCain, Matthew Moore, Kyle Booker, Clifford McCain, Jr., Alex Austin, and Jeff Walker. Mary Jo was born June 19, 1947 in Henderson, Tx, to Mary Lou Parker and Albert Don Rogers. Mary Jo moved to Shreveport, LA as a young girl. She married Thomas C. McCain, Jr. on February 9, 1969, and became a resident of Keithville, LA in 1975. Preceding Mrs. McCain in death are her mother Mary Lou Moore, step-father Hollis Moore, and father Albert Don Rogers. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, Thomas C. McCain, Jr., son David McCain, daughter Windy (McCain) Jaep, son-in-law Frederick H. Jaep, III, and three grandchildren, Dylan McCain, Samantha McCain, and Hunter Jaep. Also left to cherish her memory are her siblings, a sister Linda Austin, and brother Billy Moore, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mary Jo enjoyed spending time with her family and being an active member in her church. She loved participating in the Joyful Hearts group at Grawood Baptist Church making pillows for various projects. The family would like to thank Dr. Patel, Dr. Zabaneh, and the staff at Willis Knighton South Emergency Department for their care and kindness.
