Mary Phillips Grice

Funeral Services honoring the life of Mary Alice Phillips Grice, 73, will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, September 25,2017 at Forest Park Funeral Home. Officiating will be Dr. B. J. "Rocky" Maddox. Visitation with the family will take place prior to the services at 9:00 am. A private family service will follow at Forest Park West Cemetery. Mary was born June 23, 1944 in Shreveport, LA to KD and Inez Phillips. She went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 17, 2017. She was a long time member of Rose Park Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, KD and Inez Phillips; and brother Sonny Phillips. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Shea Grice Chism of Shreveport; grandchildren, Eli Chism, Iley Chism, and Endly Chism; sisters, Nanette Bryant of Shreveport, Knoxie Plasek and husband Raymond of Plano, TX; brothers, Ronald Phillips and wife Karen of El Dorado, AR, Gary Phillips and wife Betty of Waskom, TX, Larry Phillips and wife Martha of Shreveport, Jim Phillips and wife Debbie of Haughton, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Honoring her as pallbearers will be her grandson, Eli Chism; and family members, Aaron Phillips, Camon Phillips, Casey Phillips, Clint Phillips and Jonathan Phillips.
