Mark worked as a carpenter for 25 years. The same qualities he carried throughout his working life being dependable, hardworking, and caring were qualities that define him as a person.
While Mark found joy in the simple things in life (like golf, fishing, playing soccer, baseball, and cheering on LSU and the Saints). He loved spending time with family and friends, enjoying good food, sharing stories, music, dancing, and simply being together. We are blessed to have had the opportunity to spend precious time with Mark and to create meaningful memories together.
Known for his tender heart and warm smile, he was a simple, caring, and genuine man, always there with a listening ear and a helping hand. His love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those around him will remain with us forever.
Let it be said by Mark McKay, “I believe in God and I am looking forward to the end of my pain. May God be with you as you go in peace through your journey of life.”
