Marice Conley

Marice Walker Conley of Shreveport, LA passed away April 30, 2016 at the young age of 76. She was born July 11, 1939 in Robeline, LA and is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Walker and his wife Ruthie of Natchitoches, LA, brother WJ ""Dub"" Walker of Many, LA, sister Louise Raggio of Alexandria, LA, and daughter in-law Shelley Ray Stump Webb of Frierson, LA. Marice is survived by her loving husband of 24 years Ed Conley and leaves to cherish in memory her 3 children, Bobby Webb and wife Colleen of Shreveport, LA, Kenny Webb of Frierson, LA, and Tammie Webb and boyfriend Joey of Bossier City, LA. Her 3 sisters, Barbara Fiveash of Tyler, TX, Doris Winbarg of Natchitoches, LA, and Dottie Guilneau of Pineville, LA. Marice is survived by her grandchildren Jeremy of Baton Rouge, LA, Joshua and his wife Rebecca of Tyler, TX, Seth Wayne, Fallon Ray, and Cody all of Shreveport, LA and great grandchildren Sarah Beth, Caleb, Rachel, and Jacob of Tyler, TX Family by marriage who she loved as her own, Steve Conley of Leesburg, FL, Kacie Sicilia and her husband Paul of Corpus Christi, TX, and their son Shawn and his wife Ellen of Benton, LA, Mark Conley and his wife Lori of Lewisville, TX and daughters Ashley Hensel, and her husband Steve of Dallas, TX, and Chrissy Zadow and her husband Drew of Dallas, TX, and Cindy Conley of Fort Myers, FL. Marice retired from AT&T in 1989 after 26 years as production supervisor. Throughout her life, Marice was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and loving friend to so many including her special girlfriends. Marice enjoyed traveling, gardening, shopping, and was an active bingo player. Marice was extremely loyal, organized, had an eye for fashion and decor, incredible sense of humor, infectious laugh, and a smile that would light up any room. Visitation and funeral services will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home located at 1201 Louisiana Ave, Shreveport, LA. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 5th from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm and the funeral service will be on Friday, May 6th at 11:00 am. Immediately following an interment service will be held at Forest Park (West) located at 4000 Meriwether Road, Shreveport, LA 71109. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
