Marguerite Joseph was born on September 30,1934 in New Orleans, to her late parents Rosetta and Gilbert Garcia, she graduated from Walter L. Cohen High School and later married Wilson Joseph in 1953 and had (7) children: Wilson Jr., Gregory, Wanda, David, Katherine, Alice and Michael. The family was relocated to Columbus Ohio and after 23 years of marriage, Marguerite return to New Orleans where she began a career as a Nurse and single parent. Marguerite dedicated her life and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 09, 1986 and has been faithful for 31 years. Marguerite is survived by her living siblings: Gene Garcia and Cecilia Calendar. She has (31) grandchildren, (36) great grandchildren (2) great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives. Grandchildren are: LaTonya, Nicole, Teresa,Truiesha, Tedoris, Terrell, Johnny, Imari, Kewanda, Keshana, Jaqui, Lawrence(3), Lester, Leonard, David Jr, Austin, Pernell, Shawn, Ashley, Chris, Likita, Brandon, Maya, Anastatia, Angelica, Ciara, Michael Jr, Briana, Angelo, Anthony, Antonio Beloved Daughters in law: Roslyn Joseph, Sharron Joseph, Brenda and Lory Joseph, Tara Joseph Sons in law: Gary Harton and acknowledgement Lawrence Gordon(2) Marguerite enjoyed reading, classical music, plants, flowers, dog Polo and her ministry, which she talked to family members and others about Jehovah as much as possible. Marguerite once again relocated to Bossier City, La area to be near love ones where she passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 9:43am of Ovarian Cancer at the Aime Hospice Care Center.
