Margaret Miller Wycoff 85 of Bossier City, LA passed away peacefully on April 3, 2015 following a courageous battle with lung disease. She was born on September 21, 1930 in Minden, LA. Margaret was an outstanding member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She was active in the Ladies Society of her church and a volunteer at Christ the King, St. Jude, Mary Queen of Peace Food Pantry. She was an avid reader, a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Kenneth Joseph Wycoff, two sisters; Betty Portales of Flower mound, TX and Rosemary and Jacob Fisher of Shreveport, LA. Her daughter Cheryl Sterba and husband Ralph of Elm Grove, LA, her sons, Chris Wycoff and wife Cay of Provo, Utah, Barry Wycoff and wife Angela of FT. Walton, FL. And Wendell Wycoff of Orlando, FL. She has thirteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Margaret was loved by her family, all of her many friends and will always be remembered for her big smile and her sense of humor. The family would like to thank all the staff at Cornerstone hospital, Dr. James Jackson, Dr. Randy Bryn and Dr. Nachawati, for their excellent care and compassion to our mother. The family would also like to thank Rev, father Joseph C. Ampatt and the many devoted church friends for the visits and kindness shown to our mother during the long illness. Visitation will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. and the Rosary will start at 5:00 p.m. The funeral will be held at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
