Lucille Jordan Strong

Lucille Jordan, ne Davis, was born in Natchitoches Parish to Lawrence Davis and Ella Davis on March 8, 1926. She passed away on December 8, 2021 in Alexandria, Virginia after an illness. Lucille came from a large family of seven siblings. She worked as a bookkeeper and sales manager for Western Union, and she was a proud member of the American Businesswomens Association. She lived a full and meaningful life, outliving three husbands. She was a wonderful, beloved mother to her only child, Richard Jordan, and a warm and generous presence to everyone who knew her. She is survived by her son, Richard, her four grandchildren Emilie, Kollin, Stephen and Mary and by the countless friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and dignity.
