Upon moving to Shreveport, as a young man, Lucian was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where he married the love of his life, Mary Ann Mays. Lucky proudly served his country during the Korean War, as a Corporal in the Infantry. After his service to his country and upon return to Shreveport, his unmatched work ethic was enjoyed by many coworkers and associates at various employers to include: Pennzoil, United Gas, Sunbeam Bakery, and Pinkerton Security. He enjoyed his work daily to take care of all his girls, Linda, Janet, Sandy, and Mary. Lucky and his wife raised their granddaughter, Sandy, as their own, from the time she was born. He was the only daddy she ever knew. Everywhere he went he made new friends. He never met a stranger. Later in life he adored his daily walks in Southern Hills and to go see his friends at the In-N-Out Store. Lucky loved shooting pool at the Randle T. Moore Senior Center. Lucky was proceeded in death by his each of his parents and his sister, Ethel Lightell, of Chicago, IL. Left to carry his wonderful memories are his wife of 59 years, Mary Ann Terrio, Daughters Linda Terrio Roeten and husband Keith; Janet Lindsey; Granddaughter, Sandy Wodke and husband David; Grandson, Brandon Vincent Meyers; Nieces and nephews include: Laraine Lightell James and Husband Dennis; Tim and Elizabeth Mays; Diane and Keith Masters; and Jim Mays. The joy from his sweet and kind spirit will never be forgotten. However, ""We will meet again"". The family would like to express their special appreciation from the care of Dr. Hernandez and all the extra efforts given by all the nurses and staff at Heritage Manor Stratmore and Life Path Hospice.
