Linda Joyce Travillion

Linda Travillion was born April 9, 1953, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Lonnie Grim Sr. and Ola Grim. She was the fourth of six children. Linda confessed Christ at an early age at St. Rest Baptist Church under the leadership of pastor B.F. Martin. Linda was a medical professional and worked as a registered nurse as well as retiring from the United States Air Force with the rank of Major. Linda loved assisting and taking care of other people. She graduated from Northwestern University, Natchitoches, Louisiana with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and later received a master’s degree in Nursing from Western University, Pomona, California. Linda spent many years happily married to Joseph Travillion, a veteran of the United States Army.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Travillion; father, Lonnie Grim Sr.; brothers, Lonnie and Larry Grim; and sister, Diane Chaney. Linda departed this earthly life on November 25, 2022. She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Timothy Grim; mother, Ola Grim; sister, Norma Postel; brother, Michael Grim; special nephews, Tuwan Law and Sheldon Jones (wife Angela); aunts, Jessie Jones and Emma Tobin; and a host of relatives and friends.
