Lillie Marie Havis

Lillie Marie Havis, 50, of Shreveport LA took her place in heaven beside her parents on February 22, 2024.

Lillie was born on July 30th, 1973, in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Dorothy Lee Simpson and Robert David Shaw Sr. She grew up humbly in a home with her brothers, Robert Wayne Shaw, Robert David Jr., William Lee Shaw, and sister, Tisha Lynn Shaw. Anything that the family did not have in extravagance, they made up for with their love for family and friends.

Lillie went on to have four beautiful children with Glen Havis, Sr. In her more recent years, she found happiness in traveling with her fiancé, John Swallows Jr, where she experienced many beautiful places that brought her joy.

Lillie lived as she loved, freely and without restraint. She was an adventurous and free spirit who forged her own path in life, loving her family and friends along the way. Lillie was the life of the party and anyone who knew her knew she was a flashy and bright woman. She bedazzled everything she could get her hands on, loved to stand out in a crowd, and left a little sparkle wherever she went. She adored dolphins and felt the most at peace seeing the waves of the ocean crash against the beach. The only thing to eclipse her love of adventure is the love she held for her children and grandchildren. She taught them many things but most of all, to be true to themselves, to love fiercely, and that she would always have their backs.

She will be missed by every soul she touched, and she will be cherished in our hearts forever.

Lillie is survived by her children: Shala Marie Lafitte, and husband, John, Edwina LeAnn Young, and her husband, Johnathan, Chelsie Lee Durr, and her husband, Cody, son Nathaniel Glen Havis Jr., and his wife, Shawnee. Grandchildren: John Jr., Peyton, Schiler, Jaxson, Jace Wyatt, Camrynn and our angel babies that she now holds in her arms.

The family would like to extend our deepest appreciation to the numerous family and friends who have been there through these tough times.
