Lee Freeman Faour Lee Freeman Faour passed away on May 21, 2017 at the age of 82 after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 10:30AM until 12:00Noon, with a memorial service in the Chapel at 12:00NOON. Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery East. Ms. Faour was born on December 29, 1934 in Natchitoches, Louisiana to Albert C. Freeman and Myrtie Beason Freeman. She was a resident of Shreveport, Louisiana for most of her life. Later in life she became a pharmacist and practiced until her retirement. She was the best mother and friend a child could have. Ms. Faour was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Freeman; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert C. Freeman; husband, Joseph M. Faour; and son, James B. Faour. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Faour Opphile and husband, John of Shreveport; grandson, Brian F. Haygood and wife, Ally and great-grandchildren Addison and Jack, all of Houston, Texas; along with cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers will be John Opphile, Auguste LeBlanc, Robert Mowery, Sr., Bobby Mowery, Jason Kirkland, and Joe Brocato. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all the doctors and the nursing staff at WKMC South ER and ICU Step Down Unit; and, Patty Linder, who loved and cared for mother the last year as her own.
