Laura Lynn Mercer Bryant Laura was born on December 23, 1952 in Westlake, LA. Laura passed away peacefully, in her sleep, at home in Waskom, TX on Monday, August 15, 2016, at the age of 63. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Bonnie Mercer. Laura was married for 26 years. Left to cherish her memory are: husband, Myles Cregge Bryant of Waskom, TX; her one child: Michael Malpass, (Partner) James Ambrose; along with three step-children: Myles Timothy Bryant, Daniel Nathan Bryant, and Jennifer Rogers; and two sisters: Jenifer Stein and Sharon O'Brian. Laura was a graduate of C.E. Byrd High School, Class of 1970 and attended LSU-Shreveport. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, with Funeral Services following, at 11:00 AM, at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave, Sunday, August 21, 2016.
