Katharina "Mutti" Hannelore Campbell

Katharina “Mutti” Hannelore Campbell, 100, of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023.

Katharina was born September 13, 1923, in Landsweiler-Saarland to Paul Meier and Berta Richter. She loved and adored her mother deeply. Katharina’s mother was everything to her, she was very inspired by her. In 1962 she met the love of her life, Jim Campbell. The two married and she became a US citizen in 1966, they moved to Shreveport, Louisiana.

After living in New Orleans and Biloxi, Jim retired, and they moved to Las Vegas. They traveled and cruised together, which they very much enjoyed. They eventually moved to Shreveport to be close to Jim’s children.

Katharina is preceded in death by her parents and husband, James Robert Campbell.

She leaves behind her son Jorg Frayol and wife Brigitte; stepson, Jimmy Campbell and wife Bonnie; stepdaughter, Cherie Campbell Johnson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She loved life and having fun. She loved her basset hound dogs that she raised over the years. She always remained positive in every situation.
