John Earl Wurzburger

John Earl Wurzburger of Bossier City, LA. Passed away Monday, August 25, 2014. Beloved brother, father, uncle and friend born Dec. 14, 1944, in Many, LA, he is preceded in death by his father William Wurzburger and mother Catherine Keel. He is survived by his son Scott Wurzburger, brother Billy Wurzburger and his wife Linda, sister Mary Ann Harrison, sister Kathy Fontenot, eight nieces and nephews, 10 great-nieces and nephews and three great-great nieces and nephews. An excellent athlete, John played football for Mansfield, LA., then for Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA., during 1963, 1964 and 1967. Following graduation, John spent 29 years as a salesman at Moffitt Mazda. When not with his family. John could be found fishing on any nearby lake. Family would like to express their gratitude to Grace Home, Dr. Joyce Feagin, and Dr. James G. Howell. Visitation will be held August 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Services will follow at 12:00 noon at Forest Park Funeral Home.
