John Jacob Sandris
March 2, 1947 — June 30, 2022
John Jacob Sandris, 75, a former letter carrier, has passed away on June 30, 2022. John was born on March 2, 1947, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Eddie Sandris and Robyn Lacheur. He lived most of his life in Shreveport and Bossier City. After graduating from Notre Dame High School, Mr. Sandris bravely served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Robyn.
He is survived by his children, Jonathan Sandris and Charlotte Williams-Thomas; grandchildren, Jonasia Sandris, Aniyah Sandris, Jerry Jones Jr, and Ja'Vonte Jones; and great-grandchildren, Kida Jones, Averee Westly, Noah Jones, Jeanie White, and Kinsley Peyton.
A private memorial gathering for immediate family will be held on Friday, July 8, at Forest Park Funeral Home.
