John E. Mcintosh Jr.

Mr. John E. “Johnny Mac” McIntosh Jr, 77, of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away October 15, 2023. Johnny was born December 19, 1945, in Shreveport, La to John and Dorothy McIntosh.

Johnny loved everybody, especially his parents. He would do anything to make them happy. He and his sister, Kathleen, were especially close. He loved to clown around and make her laugh. He was very scientific minded and had a tremendous interest in electronica, especially electrical gadgets.

Johnny had his own library filled with books; his favorite book was “The Bible”. He had a very good signing voice and sang in the church and some nursing homes. His favorite song was “Because he lives”. He talked about his family often.

He is preceded in death by his parents; John E. McIntosh Sr., Dorothy S. McIntosh; his brother-in-law, John C. Ardoin, and nephew, E.J. Bradford Jr.

He left to cherish his memory, sister, Kathleen Ardoin; niece, Ellen Guyton; cousins, Dr. Tom and Rubie Straughan, and Dr. Bill and Pattie Hall.

He surely will be missed.
