John Francis Bogutzki

John Francis Bogutzki, 58, a former mental health technician, died Tuesday, July 27, 2021, in his home. He was born on December 14, 1962, in Bellaire, TX to Dee Bogart and Charles Bogutzki. He spent most of his life living in Galveston, TX and Haughton, LA. He attended Bellaire Senior High School and Bossier College where he earned honors for his outstanding academic achievement. John had many skills and talents, but his favorite hobbies included gardening, cooking, and animals. He was an extraordinary gardener, amazing gourmet chef, and avid animal lover. John was preceded in death by his parents; ex-wife, Davina Doan; and siblings, Luci Avery and Michaek Bogutzki. He is survived by his children, Melanie Broughton and Keith Bogutzki; grandchildren, William and David Broughton; and siblings, Sam Armstrong, Mary Bogutzki, Charles, Pete, and J.D. Bogutzki. Also missing him are his nieces, Juli McLinn, Tammy and Debbi Avery, and Jennifer and Amanda Bogutzki; and his nephews, Jim Avery, and Marc, Christopher, and Michael Ryan Bogutzki.
