Jessie Mae Green was born on February 2, 1932, in Shreveport, Louisiana, and she peacefully passed away on July 17, 2026, at Christus Highland Medical Center, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion that will be cherished forever.

Jessie lived a long and meaningful life marked by hard work, kindness, and a deep commitment to her family. Jessie was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Patricia Bright. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Deprea Bright, Christopher Foster, Jr., and John Foster, as well as her great-grandchildren, Travis Bright, Deshawn Jackson, and Nathon Bright. Her niece, Mable Golston, will also hold her memory close. Jessie shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Emma, who was a constant source of companionship and comfort.She was preceded in death by her sister, Cleo Vuchary, whose memory remained close to her heart throughout her life.

 Jessie carried the love of her family with her always, and the ties she shared with them were among the greatest blessings of her life.Jessie Mae Green will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her strong work ethic, and the love she gave so freely.
