Jerome Gray Sitter

Sitter of Shreveport, LA. Was born May 26, 1961 in Shreveport, La. Jerry passed away at his home on February 21, 2015. Jerry leaves behind a son, Jeremy (wife Alexis) & granddaughter, Evangeline. Brothers- Johnny, Jimmy(Leesa), Sitters-Maxine Davenport(Jim), Kathy Beard(David), girlfriend, Stephanie Bohannan & her daughters, Alisha(son Skylar) & Halie and many nieces, nephews and friends. Jerry went to reunite with his mother Beatrice and brothers Albert and Robert. Jerry was very close to his family and friends. Anyone who knew Jerry, knew he was a person who loved the outdoors. He was very involved in hunting, trapping and fishing. Jerry was well known for his love of animals and rehabilitated ailing animals. His entourage included raising everything from pigeons, turkeys, rabbits, wild birds, wildlife and even a horse to his mom's surprise. Jerry was everything from a painter, mechanic, handyman to a cook. He was well known for his fried catfish and deer backstrap. Jerry was a great man with a heart of gold. He will be missed by all who knew him. we will love and miss him. Visitation for Jerome Jerry Sitter will take place at 1:00p.m. followed by memorial service at 2:00p.m. Friday, February 27,2015 at Forest Park Funeral Home.
