SHREVEPORT, LA - Jeannette Marie Walker Moseley was born to Major and Esther Walker in Antoine, Arkansas on September 5, 1926 and passed away on June 13, 2014 at her home in Shreveport. Jeannette will be remembered as the sweet owner of Alaska Delight who always had a smile and a ready conversation for all the customers she thought of as her ""Alaska Delight family"". She loved talking, writing, travel, maps, birds, nature, reading medical reference books, taking pictures, her dogs and being with her family. She was known for her unconditional love and caring for all that passed through her life. She leaves, to cherish her memory: her brother and his wife Howard and Jerry Walker; her sister-in law Judy Walker, her daughters Marlene Dunn and Victoria Bayless; her son-in-laws Charlie Dunn and Ron Bayless; five grandchildren and their spouses: Natalie and Carol Parker, Dylan and Nicole Parker, Rebecca Bayless, Shane Dunn and Amy Herrington; great-grandchildren, Keira, Savannah, and Emerson; 9 nieces and nephews and their spouses, Bobby and Dani Reynolds, Carolyn and DD Bland, David and Francis Reynolds, Sharon and Richard Kennard, Colene and Joel Haston, Vance and Marrianna Walker, John and Melinda Walker , Jennifer Walker, and Suzanne Walker. Besides these family members she was loved and cared for by many friends and neighbors that made her life rich and full. Including Rick Parker, Maryanne Warrington, Joe Shepard, Jerry Dunn, Mary East, Susie Munholland, Warren and Angel Smith, Stephanie and Colin Hyatt, James and Georgia Reed, Ralph Forrester, Chris Carlton, Dorothy Prowell, Marilyn Christian, Melvin McCaa, Debbie Brown and all the doctors and nurses that helped her to live a full life to the great age of 87! She was preceded in death by her much beloved husband Virgil Moseley, her sister-in-law Mary (Futchie) Reynolds, her brother Jimmy Walker, grandson Forrest Bayless, and nephews Billy Reynolds and Morgan Walker. Graveside services will be held at Forest Park West at 11:00 am on Tuesday June 17th. Following the service friends and family are welcome at the family home.
