Jamie Lee Williams

Jamie Lee Williams, 58, passed away on October 11, 2024, in Shreveport, LA, just shy of her 59th birthday. Born on October 13, 1965, Jamie was a beacon of kindness and warmth, spreading love and joy to everyone she encountered.

Jamie graduated from Airline High School and went on to pursue further education at Troy College. Her career flourished as a Sales Manager at Ceasars Entertainment, where she was recognized multiple times with the P.R.I.D.E award for Sales Manager of the Year, underscoring her professional excellence and dedication. Her most recent professional accomplishment was her new role as Director of Sales at Live! Casino and Hotel.

Beyond her professional life, Jamie was deeply involved in her community as a board member of the Red River Arts Festival. Her commitment to culture and arts significantly enriched the cultural landscape of her community.

She was a devout attendee of Riverpark Church, where a celebration of life will be held in her honor on November 2nd at 3:00 pm.

Jamie is survived by her son, Kyle Williams and spouse Jennifer Williams; daughter, Kadee Hannigan and spouse Jacob Hannigan; and son Jacob Williams; stepfather, Sam Empey; grandchildren, Piper Williams, Kinley Williams, Jackson Williams, Madeline Hannigan, Audrey Jo Hannigan, and Lorelai Hannigan; siblings, Steven Abeyta, Sandy Abeyta, and Angie Sheedy; and her best friend, Michelle Holloway. She was preceded in death by her mother, Loraine Empey; father, Bennie Orlando Abeyta; and brother, Benito Abeyta.

Jamie's legacy of love, kindness, and community involvement will live on through her family, friends, and all the lives she touched.
