Helen Marie (Paris) Logan, 79, a former housewife, has died peacefully of natural causes on Friday, June 24, 2022. Helen was born on May 14, 1943, in Cotton Valley, LA, to James Jefferson Paris and Allie Brooks Paris. She lived in Shreveport and Bossier City in Louisiana, as well as Grand Prairie, Texas. Helen was an avid reader and Bible Missionary. She read from her Bible daily and spread the Good Word as far as she could. Helen was skilled in many areas, but she found the greatest strength in her religious faith.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, George Logan; children, James and Larry Logan; and her parents, James and Allie Paris.
She is survived by 4 children and 24 grandchildren!
A public visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, from 10 AM until 12 PM, at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave. Funeral service will follow at 12 PM, with burial immediately after at Plain Dealing Cemetery, LA-157, Plain Dealing, LA 71064.
