Harry E. Allen Jr.

Harry E Allen Jr, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2025 at the age of 79. He was born on September 26th, 1945 to Harry E. Allen Sr. and Inez Allen.

Harry was a resident of Shreveport, La. He was married for 63 years to his wife, Billie Ann Allen. He would do anything in the world to keep her happy!

Harry retired from AT&T in Shreveport. After retirement he helped both of his sons open a family automotive business. He proudly wore many hats from husband, father, and a Papa to many. In his earlier years Harry and his wife loved to ride motorcycles. He had a great love for cars, motorcycles or anything with an engine and wheels. He loved watching Nascar and old western movies. He leaves behind endless memories for those he loved those that loved him.

Harry is preceded in death by his father Harry E. Allen Sr; Mother Inez Allen; Sister Patricia; Brother Rodney Joe.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Billie Ann; Children Robert and Jimmy (Patti) Allen. Grandchildren Brandy Allen, Kyle Allen, Ashley Allen, Cody Allen (Heather), and Kacy Chreene (Rocky). Numerous great grandchildren and his great-great grandchild.

Honoring Harry as pallbearers will be Cody Allen, Rocky Chreene, Joshua Harvey, John Deyoung, Joey Marcantel and Troy Huff. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Kyle Allen.

Visitation for Harry will be held on Monday, March 17th, 2025 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Forest Park Funeral home, 1201 Louisiana Ave., Shreveport, La. His Funeral Service will take place the following day on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Forest Park Funeral Home. Darrell Miller, Long time family friend and Pastor from Journey Church will be officiating.

The family would like to extend a warm thank you to the staff of Garden Park and the staff of Willis Knighton Piermont. And a special thanks to Brenda Russell and Vera Lang for their countless hours of personal care.
