Gregory "Geep" Paul Bishop Jr. passed away on December 20th, 2021, at the young age of 41. Gregory was born on Friday, the 11th of April, 1980 to his mother, Marjorie, and father, Gregory Sr. in Claremore, OK. As a young child, Gregory (or Geep as his family and closest friends knew him) was baptized at St. Pius Catholic Church in Tulsa, OK. He excelled in athletics from early childhood through high school, where he stood out in baseball and football. Following high school, Gregory attended college in Tulsa, OK and Lawrence, KS before moving to Sherman, TX to be closer to family. In 2017, Gregory relocated to Shreveport, LA where he remained until his untimely passing. Throughout his life, family, friends, and all who had the fortune of meeting Gregory would describe him as funny, compassionate, hard-working, and supportive. Gregory was an avid sports fan, was very passionate about music, was a talented musician himself, and was deeply dedicated to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed and leave a legacy of laughter, love, and joy. Gregory is survived by his fianc, Sarah Bigham, their expected child, and the Bigham family; his parents, Marjorie Lee and Malcom Kahre, Gregory Bishop Sr., and Sharon ANeal; his siblings, Steven and Toni Bishop, Matthew and Andria Whipple Bishop, Brogan ANeal, Zach and Jeri Kahre, and Lauren Kahre; grandmother, Betty Music; uncles and aunts, Mike and Pam Music, Jake and Ryan Music, Michelle Music, Mike and Melody Bishop, Brad and Deana Bishop, Nancy Lammle, Jeff Bishop, and Pat and Jennifer Bishop; nephews, Cannon Bishop and Wyatt Kahre; cousins, Jennifer Bishop, Jason and Chris Hoey, Ryan, Zachary, and Andrea Lammle, Caleb and Devin Bishop, Stephen and Tyler Music, Kelsey Sodowsky, Emily Music, Jordan and Corey Peterson, Cale and Taylor Music Vang, and Noah Wright. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim Music and Edward and Janet Bishop and uncles, Mark Music, Jimmy Music, Jr., Kevin Lammle, Edward Bishop Jr., and Anthony Bishop. Visitation will be held at Forest Park Funeral Home in Shreveport, LA on December 28, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 pm.
