Georgia A. Candler, 81 of Keithville, LA, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025. She was born September 18, 1943, in Mansfield, Louisiana, to the late Jimmy Birdwell Crabtree Sr and Carmen Barton.
Georgia graduated from Mansfield High. She was a devoted wife for 53 years and the best mom to her four kids. Georgia was full of love and laughter. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, swinging, walking, and spending time with her loved ones; she never met a stranger. Georgia had the biggest heart and the sweetest soul. She cared like no other, she would go out of her way to make things happen just to see the smile on someone’s face. She brought so much joy to everyone around her; she would light up the room with her beautiful smile. She will continue to live through her family. Mom/Pug, you will forever be in our hearts and souls, our memories of you will continue to last forever, you are one in a million. She will be missed by so many.
Georgia is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Birdwell Crabtree Sr and Carmen Barton.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 53 years, Michael A. Candler, her four kids, Bronson C. Candler (Misty), Christopher M. Candler, Kelly M. Candler, and Matthew A. Candler (Christina), sister, Helen Philmon. Eight grandkids and three great grandkids, nieces, nephews, and her extended family members and friends.
Honoring her as pallbearers are Bronson Candler, Christopher Candler, Matthew Candler, Elijah Garza, Luke Candler, and Scott Crabtree.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the family and friends during this difficult time
