Geneva Pauline Tombrello

February 23, 1949 — June 6, 2018

Geneva Pauline Cimino Tombrello, 69, of Shreveport, LA, passed away after a brief illness during the early morning of Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Geneva was born in New Orleans to John and Callie Mae McDonald Cimino, on February 23, 1949. Many will remember the years she worked as the Business Administrator for the Cathedral of Saint John Berchmans School, as well as, her efforts serving our Lord, Jesus Christ, as a member of several Catholic Churches in the area, including the years she spent singing in the choir at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church, in Waskom, TX. Mrs. Tombrello was preceded in death by her parents, and her loving husband, Frank Anthony Tombrello, SR. Geneva is survived by her three adoring sons: John, Frank (Jennie) and Chris Tombrello; her siblings: Bill (Wanda) McDonald, Virginia (Bob) Werthman, Shirley (David) Falcon, Rosie (Jeff) Frazier, and Mary (Sam) Gingles; and her beautiful granddaughter: Alexis Tombrello; along with numerous extended family and caring friends. A Grave-Side Funeral Service will be held at 10 am, on Monday, June 11, 2018, at Forest Park West Cemetery, with Monsignor J. Carson Lacaze, presiding. In Liu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dyslexia Training program, through the Caddo Masonic Lodge #179, 1805 Creswell Ave, Shreveport, LA 71101, or the Geneva Tombrello Scholarship Fund, at the Cathedral Saint John Berchmans School.
