Eunice Lee Martin

Eunice Lee Martin, age 70, of Shreveport, LA, passed away on December 23, 2022. He was born on December 18, 1952, to Carrie Lee Martin and DW Mays. Eunice attended Booker T. Washington High School in Shreveport. He enjoyed spending time fishing, and he was an avid welder.

Eunice was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Lee Martin and DW Mays; and his siblings, Helen Smith, Dorothy Lee, and Leroy Martin.

He is survived by special partner, Ruth Martin; 5 children, including Marcus Martin; siblings, Roosevelt (Charlene) Martin, Thelma Banks of CA, Janice Williams of NV, and Kenneth Martin of TN; his aunt, Virginia Redd; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave. Shreveport, LA with funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment will take place at Forest Park West Cemetery, 4000 Meriwether Rd.
