Ernest Lucky Harrison

Ernest Lucky Harrison, age 65 of Winnsboro, TX. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 pm, at Forest Park Funeral Home, 1201 Louisiana Ave., Shreveport, LA, Wednesday, May 29, 2013, followed by a graveside service at 1:00pm at Forest Park Cemetery on St Vincent's Ave. Lucky passed away in Winnsboro, Texas on Monday, May 27, after a lengthy illness. Lucky was predeceased in death by his mother, Peggy Lucky Harrison, his father, Ernest M. Harrison and step-mother, Pat, maternal grandparents William A. and Grace Lucky and paternal grandparents Ernest P. and Wessie M. Harrison. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Nikki Dixon Harrison, and his son, David Dion Harrison, of Winnsboro, Texas; also his first cousin, G. Kenneth Harrison and wife, Debbie, of Shreveport. Lucky was born April 2, 1948 in Shreveport, LA. He was a graduate of North Caddo High School. He and his son operated a lawn care and landscaping business, together, for many years in Shreveport. He loved the outdoors and had many fond memories of fishing at the family home on Black Bayou, in Hosston, LA. His two dogs, Bella and Sweet Pea, brought him great joy and were very protective of him!!
